YOUR SAFETY IS IMPORTANT. REMEMBER THESE SIMPLE RULES.

BE SURE THAT YOUR CHILDREN UNDERSTAND THEIR IMPORTANCE.

1. REMAIN SEATED WHILE WAGON IS MOVING. Benches face inward to prevent falls from the wagon, but caution is still in order.

 

2. ADULTS ONLY SHOULD HANDLE TREE SAWS. The teeth of these saws are very sharp and can easily cut your hand if not held properly.  Elizabeth Farms will not be responsible for any injury caused by use and/or misuse of Elizabeth Farms’ tools or tools owned by third parties.  

 

3. BE ALERT FOR UNEVEN GROUND IN THE FIELD.  Stumps cut by previous customers and holes made by busy groundhogs can be treacherous if care is not taken.

 

4. STAY AT A SAFE DISTANCE FROM TREE DRILLER AND BALER. Moving parts on these devices require caution.

 

5. THIS DOCUMENT IS A LEGAL AGREEMENT WITH LEGAL CONSEQUENCES.  Please read this document carefully before you sign it.

 

UNDER PENNSYLVANIA LAW, PARTICIPANTS ASSUME THE RISK OF EQUINE ACTIVITIES.  I, FOR MYSELF AND ON BEHALF OF MY MINOR CHILD/CHILDREN AND ALL OTHER MEMBERS OF MY PARTY, AM AWARE OF, UNDERSTAND, AND ASSUME THE UNAVOIDABLE RISKS INHERENT IN ALL HORSE RELATED ACTIVITIES. THESE INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO, DEATH, BODILY INJURY AND PHYSICAL HARM TO A PARTICIPANT, A HORSE, A BYSTANDER, OR SPECTATOR.

Therefore, for myself and on behalf of my minor child/children and all other members of my party, I agree to release, hold harmless and indemnify Elizabeth Farms, LLC, its members, managers, owners, partners, landlords, agents, employees and all others acting on its behalf (collectively, “Associates”), for all claims, demands, causes of action and legal liability (including, without limitation, any economic and/or non-economic losses), whether known or unknown, anticipated or unanticipated, for bodily injury, death and/or property damage, arising from or relating to my, my children and/or any other members of my party being present on the property operated by Elizabeth Farms and/or engaging in activities of any nature on the property.  I further waive and shall not bring any claim, demand, or legal action against Elizabeth Farms or its Associates for any such injury or damage.
